Swimming pool with those built in sunloungers in the water and a swim up pool bar.
View of the beach also would be great!
And not forgetting some nice men in swimming shorts wandering around

Beach, primarily during the day.
Lots of potential for long walks, beachcombing, chatting to other walkers, dog owners, surfers, etc.
Pool, by evening and moving into the night.
Different ambience, different intentions, with potential to arrange a single meet, or possibly group activity.
It's not a binary decision; make the best use of each location. |

If its a quiet pool fine but generally would rather a secluded part of the coastline, doesn't have to be sandy. Something really grounding sitting on a rocky coastline and just zoning out. |

"I prefer the pool, although I love the sea breeze and the sound of the waves on the beach.
As long as I have shade to lie under I’m happy " .. Oh yes please.
. Doesn't that sound like heaven |

Depends on the circumstances. A beach if it's me and the dogs, it'll be cool perhaps windy, mountains behind us. I'm thinking Pothmadoc or Anglesey and they'll be a pub after the walk, good beer and food.
Otherwise a pool, I'd be on a lounger, sun umbrella, a good book and a little perving x |

I love the sea view and swimming in the sea, but I'm not a fan of getting covered in sand, so I prefer a pool right on the beach front so I can get the best of everything! |

Both. Like beach in the morning and pool after lunch, or the other way round (depending on what time the kids are hiring paddle board or other, usually)
Our lazy days are usually split between the pool and the beach |
