Over the past 15 months, we’ve all spent an inordinate amount of time watching TV, streaming content, listening to music or podcasts, reading... basically consuming media of any kind and catching up on the popular culture of the post war era. Of course most people have watched and rewatched the primary recommendations that people always share but for yourself, what was the hidden gem that you enjoyed?
There’s a certain pleasure in finding that independent, un marketed gem that others don’t know about, share that pleasure!
It doesn’t matter what the form of media is, whatever it was that you found and enjoyed, share it with us! |

"Unorthodox was a great watch
What was that?
What was it on? "
Netflix. Drama based on Deborah Feldman's life of breaking away from an ultra-orthodox Hasidic community in New York. There's an interview with her on the Conversations podcast from ABC (Australia). |

The Lovecraft Investigations - BBC Sounds or other podcast app. Drama series based around three stories from HP Lovecraft set in the modern day in the style of an investigations podcast.
The Flight Attendent - NowTV/Sky. Kaley Cuoco in a smart, clever and funny thriller where she goes to bed with a one night stand and wakes up the next day with him dead in bed.
Thrilling Cities by Ian Fleming - never realised he'd written non-fiction. Louching it around the most exciting cities in the world in the 1950's. |
