No, nothing like that, I went out with someone and whenever I saw her in a pub I’d forget that she was me and my heart would do a bit of loop de loop then the realisation would kick in that she was with me, it’s like waking up thinking you’ve got work then remembering you’ve got the day off. |

I’m demiromantic so it doesn’t happen easily, avoiding it for the rest of my life shouldn’t be difficult, and I’ll be better off without it. Don’t be sad for me, I’ll be happier that way. |

This is true, sometimes that meal is deliciously hot and you devour it. But you then realise you've burnt your mouth and dribbled down your favourite shirt. |

I agree, as much as I'm content with single life and can't picture it any differently. I will never give up on love 
However everyone has had their individual journey so long as someone has given it thorough thought. I just say fair enough if they will never accept it again xx |

My husband died and my heart was literally ripped from me.
You piece yourself back together slowly and hope, hope more than anything you’ll meet someone again, someone to love you, adore you, to be someone’s everything.
Then you get messed about, hopes built up and then dashed. You realise you’re only good for sex.
Hope is a dangerous thing for me. Hope breaks my heart even more, so it’s best not to have it.
Maybe my husband was all that I was meant to have.
I can’t describe the loneliness.
Yes I know you don’t need another person to make you happy, but I love being in a relationship. I miss all that comes with it.

It’s not a waffle it’s the truth my wife passed in 2012 and what you have described is bang on she was my heart my soul my love when I lost her it was like the world ends does take time to heal x  |
