A film from 1960, starring Peter Sellers, Irene Handle, Liz Frazer, Bernard Cribbins, David Lodge, Wilfrid Hyde White.
Sellers has the perfect alibi by escaping from prison to commit a heist on a diamond shipment.
Battle of the Sexes
Peter Sellers is the understated accountant in a Scottish weaving company who goes head to head with an American efficiency expert, who has been brought in to shake things up; but Sellers triumphs.
Both films are frequently broadcast on TPTV.
Heavens Above
Sellers is an altruistic clergyman, who is subjected to a psychiatric assessment because he is too concerned about the plight of the poor.
Lots of sexual innuendo in all three films and observations about MF relationships; very amusing!

Only Two Can Play
Another Peter Sellers film, from 1962.
Set in Wales, Sellers is a philandering librarian who makes a pass at every eligible woman he meets.
However, he meets his match in Mai Zetterling and decides he will be faithful to his wife, rather than continue his illicit affairs.
Lots of sexual innuendo and MF interactions.
Very amusing, and again frequently broadcast on TPTV, Freeview 81.
Sellers' costar, Virginia Maskill had a very tragic ending; she took her own life during a severe bout of post natal depression.
