We are just discussing it in bed and don’t think we can, no. We’ve got some old friends, and new, who we are frankly gagging to meet too.
As rates are starting to rise again if doesn’t seem safe. |

Family and friends first.
Plus my part time work is open again from the 17th so I'm in for a very busy couple of months whilst finishing my PGCE.
Theres plenty of time for fab, plus gives more time to get to know people I would like to meet when the time is right. |

"Yep we will do pub socials now. Both had double jabs plus previous COVID antibodies. Life needs to carry on "
Pub socials sound like a very good idea, we’ll adopt that. Thanks! |

"Nope. Family & friends first. Meets arent permitted until June 21st at the earliest. Not sure why people think meets have been & are acceptable?! "
It depends what happens in a meet. Government guidelines are relaxing considerably from 17th May. They are putting the onus of being responsible on us rather than setting a blanket policy for everybody.
"Guidance for close contact between friends and family will be updated, with people exercising their own personal judgement in line with the risks."
"The public can make informed, personal decisions on close contact, such as hugging, with their friends and family."
With that in mind, we will be doing a bit more socialising but will act within government guidelines and be cautious and responsible.

Social meets of course are fine & very much needed for us all, especially us single pringles!
Meeting for sex with a stranger is definitely not acceptable & does not fall within the law. |

Whilst there’s a threat from the ‘Indian’ variant, I’ll still be keeping my guard up and mask on, as much as I’d like life to return to some better sort of normality it’s just not worth the risk hugging anyone at the moment |

No, not me, I'll only being doing this once I feel that it's safe for me and safe for others.
Things are changing daily, whilst the government is relaxing the rules, I still feel that it's up to individuals to make wise and safe decisions. There's a derestriction sign on the single lane country road that goes past my house; I'm allowed to go 60mph but I don't because it's not safe to do so (blind bends, horses, pedestrians, wild animals, farm vehicles...). |
