No rush.
I've enjoyed the time to observe people, not distracted by the thrill of the chase.
I'm waiting until more people - including myself - are fully vaccinated and the national situation is more stable. |

Absolutely, Swing. I was meaning more when things are back to "normal" i.e. no restrictions, everything stable, will you return to the scene as previously or have things changed for you?

"I think that depends upon the frequency that fabbers we’re meeting people pre-pandemic. I suspect the majority of solo men haven’t noticed any difference in the last year. "
Fair point! Has what you are seeking changed? |

I'm taking my own view on safety, more cautious than the restrictions. Just because I'm allowed to, doesn't mean I should.
I'll return to the scene, but my view has changed, and my vetting process will change with it. |

No. We've never rushed this and would rather take our time to find the right guy not just any guy. |

I’ve worked all through lockdowns ..... so I’m quite happy going out and about when I need to ..... I have not yet sat outside a pub or been to a shopping Center .... like everyone else most shopping is completed online now except home bargains.... ..... I’ve been using lateral flow testing twice a week since it was introduced ..... and socially distance, wear a mask and clean hands regularly ..... and I won’t be Jumping into anything even though I had my second vaccine this week...... I think we have to have our sensible heads on to protect ourselves and loved ones xxx |

We’re not in any rush.
To be honest, there’s still a way to go before we can meet others and there may be a fly in the ointment yet, so getting hopes up and anticipating something could have a negative impact.
I’m trying to adopt the Schrodingers cat approach to lockdown easing; it exists in a state of happening and not happening, at the same time.
That way I can manage expectations better |

No not at all. I haven’t met in 18 months and I’ve no expectations when lockdown is lifted. Just feeling down in the dumps today. Soz |

I'm quite lucky in that I get my second jab this coming week buuut I won't be rushing to meet - I'm currently on a getting fit mission and until I'm feeling more confident in myself I won't be.
When I am? I'll mainly be seeing friends in a social capacity for the time being, there are quite a few I've missed and can't wait to see again. |

I’ve continued to meet my bubble person throughout, but the thought I’d meeting someone else (other than socially) is quite honestly a terrifying thought. |

Not especially. We'll both be seeing friends and family but I think meets will be a little while off, especially as neither of us has even had the first vaccine yet. That and we've already cut ties with a few people who've been blatantly meeting during the lockdown so need to recover some faith in people a bit too

We are being extra careful even though we have both received our second jabs, one of us 4 weeks ago and one a week ago.
We both had covid just after Christmas but one of us was asymptomatic so when we do start meeting again every socially we will be testing.
We have so many exciting plans for the next year that we don't want to put those in jeopardy. |

My heart is no longer in meeting anyone.
I found it hard going to meet new people before Covid due to my shyness and anxiety. Enforced social solitude has not helped that one bit.
And so I have sadly accepted that I’m going to die an old maid with my arms chewed off by cats. |

I like the idea of meeting for a social outdoors, it's nice to flirt and build a connection in readiness for when we're allowed to do more. It's like teasing myself |

Not a chance. People's behaviour this last year has disgusted me.
People fucking strangers is a bad idea. STI's will be rife. Most people don't give a crap about other people's health. They don't care about covid, they certainly won't care about passing on STI's. |

It's champing. Champing, champing, champing, champing!
A reference to a relatively obscure comedy, hope someone gets it... *crawls away and hides in cave in case of telling off for derailing thread* |
