"Had it professionally done back, butt, back of legs. Had a breakout few days after."
Awww bless you, it can be quite annoying.
Have a lovely cool bath and treat your skin gently with some medicated cream? Hope it's better soon, OP x |

Tell them. They should be making customers aware and testing? I'm sure they would prefer to know. Also find out what they used so if you go elsewhere you can avoid same wax ? I never had a skin patch for waxing not sure if it's something they do ? |

was it the first time you've ever been waxed?
first time you'll get more of a reaction. subsequent waxings the hairs are softer and finer and the whole process just gets easier
I could never go back to shaving now |

more specifically what do you mean by break out? , i wouldn’t have thought it would take days for an allergic reaction to show , sounds like either its just a skin breakout from inappropriate after care or the waxers technique was poor and they have damaged your skin
i had one wax where they burnt me and ripped the skin badly ... hurt to sit down for a week i had it done on my lunch break and for the afternoon just pit it down to not remembering strip wax is more painful than hot wax .., until i got home in the evening and saw the state of myself ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

After 5 days i had these rashes/bumps. They have reduced a bit 2 weeks after but still see some bumps. It was hot wax. I followed the proper after care so was surprised |

When you say your extreme regime, what do you mean. You’re actually supposed to just wash with warm water and touch as little as possible for the first few days afterwards, then exfoliate heavily after about three days to avoid dead skin growing over and causing in grown hair.
I can sometimes be a bit sore for a couple of days, but far better than the god awful itchiness from shaving. |

Have you ever used magic powder OP?that stuff is brilliant, and they do a sensitive one not that I've tried that one.Just remember not to leave it on too long unless you enjoy a burning sensation. A Shaving powder (depilatory) formulated especially for Black Men to help stop razor bumps. Skin Conditioning formula contains Aloe and Vitamin E
I hope that helps ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I mean i followed the instructions of the beautician. Loose clothing, aloe vera gel application, exfoliating after 3 rd day |
