Back in the early 80's the school I was at had a new subject on the syllabus just as I was taking my options.
Computer studies or programming can't remember anyway I said to teacher.
" Naaaa don't think there's a future in that,I'll stick to woodworking and becoming a carpenter"
Yup I actually said " computers can't see any future in those"

Op, I wish I'd not have been so paralytic d*unk in my 20's. I drank alot of smoke & smoked alot of rain! I binge drank at the weekends & had a nasty hangover that lasted 3-4 days.
Wish I'd sobereed up & nocked it on the head sooner, got fitter & buggered off to China either to Shaolin Temple or Wudang as a student under a Taoist master. Covid has made me look at fitness...  |
