Luton airport fighting

Wtf! Last time i went through an international airport there were armed police all over the place. So how the fuck does something like this happen? The video appears to show white men knocking seven bells out of each other. I guess that the police were busy arresting peaceful young European women attempting to visit relatives in England, and thus not available to intervene when English thugs commit crimes. |

"Im not really sure that the colour of their skin is relevant?
Exactly what I thought"
Generally speaking, BAME citizens are more worried about being arrested in airports just for the offence of looking suspicious. Being self entitled to the point of never even considering the consequences of brawling in a high security environment where there are uniformed men with guns wandering around is a singularity white British privilege.
I've no doubt whatsoever that if they had been middle eastern and talking a foreign language, and someone had been shot, there would be all the usual voices here saying it was perfectly justified and that the police should be given medals. As it is, I'm sure that it won't be long before excuses start being made about the social stresses these good family men have been living with, and how it is all the fault of the Chinese causing the pandemic... |

Lots of people feel nervous and that they look suspicious at airports and other border / customs places.
Many countries around the world have armed police and brawling by people of many races and religions occurs in mamy countries including those with armed Police. Your post seems to be complaining about racism but ironically, seems to demonstrate it. |

I point out the fact that the treatment of people in this country very much varies according to skin colour and other such superficial characteristics. I point to a specific case where members of my own race feel entitled to behave in a way that would be condemned and in a place that could well lead to them being subdued with deadly force if they were members of other races.
If talking about the existence of prejudice and inequality is being racist, then yes by that warped definition I must be racist. |

You speculated and made accusations - thats not the same as talking about facts. I think Police in airports are used to dealing with people from all over the world. Its unlikely that they will shoot people for simply fighting - where ever they come from. Also, I didnt say you were racist - I pointed out the irony in your post. |

I come onto a swinging site to meet like minded people who indulge in a form of sex that most of the population don't indulge in. Not to get some fruit loops politicised ramblings. Wrong website cupcake, you should get out more. In my humble opinion those that see colour in everyone and everything are generally the most dangerous. |

Its irrelevant as to the status of the profile.
Its an open forum and unnecessary to call someone a fruitloop for expressing an opinion. |

So don't comment on threads that aren't about swinging then, tray bake (assuming we're carrying on with the patronising baking references?!).
Also not seeing colour is as bad as using it against people. You should see, acknowledge, respect and celebrate all colours. Not lump them all together. |

Where on earth were the police? As a serious point most airports have rapid response armed officers all over the place. Imagine this had been a terrorist act? As for the idiots involved what a bunch of dicks. |

Actually I think that you might find that you are reading and posting on a forum where anybody can start a topic about anything of general interest. Brawling in an airport seems to fit general interest, given that it was on the front page of most newspapers. If you don't want to read items of general interest, I suggest that you stop looking at the forum, maybe you would be more interested in the cams section of the website? Oh and by the way, I'm not your "cupcake" and not a "fruit loop". I didn't start insulting you, I suggest that you don't start insulting others. |

I would say was a pretty serious fight because 3 people will taken to hospital and 17 were arrested. |

Fucking Hell, The Fabs Internet Police are out in force. Very appropriate as you'd know all about tray bakes. Please please don't confuse me with someone who gives a fuck. Now toodle pip off and find another person on here who doesn't get out much and discuss your favourite flavour of crisps with each other. I don't! Why have you come to that conclusion?"
Probably from specifying a race, then double downing on the "White Privilege" stuff. When in reality the race of perpetrators have absolutely nothing to add to the discussion
Ask your self if the the people involved were black would the OP even have mentioned it

By the very fact that skin colour was brought up when there was no need for it. Racism and skin colour is so highly controversial and such a hot topic that any mention of it overshadows any other point in the topic.
If the discussion was truely intended to be about fighting in an airport skin colour would not have come in to this, and I would say the same if it were a group of black men too. I despise it when news articles or reports or anything of that nature has to state "a group of black men"," a group of white womalen" etc. Just say a group of men/women.
By making such needless descriptions you bring the divide to the forefront instead of it being about just people. |

I've just watched the video. Can't tell the race creed, privilege status of any of them, just bad at fighti2ng. Although the one whose bum crack is on full view to those behind him, is definitely white, it doesn't make him English even. Luckily the BBC report only states men (the woman shouting stop is probably English).
One certain thing is that they are dickheads. |

It happens to be foreigners if you listen. And no one should be visiting relatives anywhere at the moment. You message here is purely to stir up hatred and frustration. |

Imagine being Irish and going through an airport with specific security procedures just for Irish people.
Nothing to do with skin colour or religion and everything to do with an accent and an address.
Having to submit to physical searches every time you went through a UK airport and having photos taken of you and your family including small children years before it became the norm.
All fairly good reasons to look nervous in an airport but rarely if ever discussed before. |

There are many exemptions to the essential travel ban.
Its quite illuminating. Its whether or not the travel was essential. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-travellers-exempt-from-uk-border-rules/coronavirus-covid-19-travellers-exempt-from-uk-border-rules

I miss the days when air travel was expensive.
Meant you didn't have to deal with idiots smashed out of their brains turning flights into the aerial equivalent of taking the 436 bus through London late on a Friday night.

Not that race or country of origin has any relevance, The 11 men charged over the incident were named as: Lulian Calota, 55; Marcas Mihai, 25; Oliver Vaduva, 20; Stefan-eugen-mihai Stlica, 18; Ion-claudiu Veriga, 24; Boss Veriga, 28; Florin Mihai, 22; Iulian Veriga, 39; Vijay Vaduva, 20; Marius Mihai, 21; and Marian Gigiu, 47.
