"Which phrases tick you off and get your goat?"
‘We should put a jacket on your goat!’
‘I think your goat needs a new hat!’
‘Is it okay to rest my brew on your goats back!’

Triggered.... Often said with an air of triumph.
I'm not triggered dick head, I just don't agree with you and have told you so.
Are you triggered because someone had the balls to tell you you are wrong? |

I love language, and playing with words and punctuation in a way that is a little unusual for most. My writing style in any form is akin to Edgar Alan Poe.
I have found that alas, people can be just as put off and dismayed by this, just as much as they are with the phrases already quoted within this here thread. |

I have OCD.
No you don't, you just like things to be tidy and orderly.
OCD is a diagnosed mental health condition whereby you imagine awful things happening if you don't do things in a certain way or a certain number of times. It's debilitating for those who actually have it and you saying you have it just because you like your tins lined up in a cupboard is actually mocking those who genuinely do have it. |

People who say it cause they like their sock drawer tidy, that’s not OCD that’s being organised, seen it so many times. |

And if you like your books lined up and in order of publisher. Or like lending them out to people because they never come back in the same condition. |

Men wear pants (not all men)
Women wear knickers (not all women)
With caveats as some people wear knickers and some people wear pants. |

lots of the ones said above for me too ...
its more the way someone purposefully winds you up or sets off a grenade or comes out with something that is total garbage , specifically looking for a reaction, then they drop in one of these really dismissive comments , like lighten up or don’t be a karen or you are a sheep all that kind of crap as though they are in someway enlightened and above all the crap they started |

Pants probably shortening of underpants (pants short for pantaloons). Underpants probably meaning trousers worn under garments.
Knickers short for knickbockers (loose fitting trousers for men). Now used for short, loose fitting undergarments for women. |

Bants
Bro
All of the "you get me fam" knobheads.
Don't be a Karen
People correcting others on their spelling and grammar, mine is pretty good so rarely gets corrected but there's a guy in a WhatsApp group I'm in that spell checks everybody and I hate him for it. |

Lol....happy that it generated a discussion but it still remains that men wear pants (mostly) and (mostly) women wear knickers (or stuff that men don't wear , only on occasion), (unless they are part of a small minority).
I need a lie down !

“ I say it how it is”
“Like me or lump me”
“I don’t care what anyone thinks of me”
All those and the like, just screams arrogance or insecurity to me.
Oh and “my bad”. That phrase makes my fucking teeth itch.

"The over use of the work perfect.
Them. “Can I have your address please”
Me “bla bla bla”
Them “perfect”
It’s not perfect. It’s just a simple answer to the question you asked me. "
Haha.... I actually do all that on the phone , perfect , yes, yes, absolutely, sure, perfect, etc only because it works, it just becomes 2nd nature!
No phrases really bug me tbh other than that very english thing ‘not bad’
