My first was Cheap Trick at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in 1979
My best was Squeeze in 2000 at the same venue
Seen Bowie several times and many others. Francie goes to Hollywood in the mid 80's was a great evening |

Oh god, they used to have loads of gigs at the guild hall didn’t they. Shame they don’t anymore.
My first gig was Oasis (not at the guild Hall) |

"Shakin' Stevens as a child in the early 80s
I met him a couple of times, such a genuinely nice chap "
It's always good to hear that people are as nice in person, as they seem.
Where did you meet him? |

"Enter Shikari at a SU years and years ago."
You’ve never mentioned that!
I’ve never seen them live, I think I’ve missed the boat now.
My 40 year old bones might not survive the pit these days. |

Sort of a festival in singleton park. Manics headlining,my mate ended up in first aid for mixing his drinks. After a few ciders and thunderbird they let me be responsible enough to take him back out.......those were the days |

"The Sensational Alex Harvey Band" at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in 1977. I remember vividly the first time i ever heard Zal Cleminson's guitar work on Faith Healer that night, it was one of those light shines on baldy head moments |
