In my twenties, I used to work with a woman whose Dad had been a hospital doctor and regularly had to remove 'offending' items from patient's bottoms. Light bulbs and glass milk bottles are the ones I remember her telling me about.
Some people enjoy the feeling of being stretched or feeling 'full'.
