Yay, just had to share how excited I am to be headed back into the office properly today. No more teams meetings, no more zoom, no more blurring of lines between home hours and work hours it’s going to be awesome

I know it works for some and it was a novelty in the beginning but I’m definitely ready for some normality again and it begins today for me

Good luck with going back to reality. Hopefully within a few more weeks we can all be doing the same as this working from home is getting everyone down

I hope you really enjoy returning to work.

Personally I prefer working from home and don't want to return to the office.

That's fab news. I seem to have done it all the other way round. In the office throughout all of the lockdowns, now in a job where I predominantly work from home

Thanks all and may you all find your own preferred working locations soon

Like I say it was great at home on the beginning when we thought it was just a stop gap measure but my work is very hands on normally and we’ve just been putting stuff off for ages doing what we can theoretically so it’s just going to be awesome to get some proper work done again

I think this is likely to be the new norm for many of us.

Hope it goes well, how long a commute do you have, im hoping for a few days in office and rest at home to avoid the 1.5 hour commute to work

Yes, I think I will be doing my 100 minute commute every day going forward. Probably 3 in 2 out

Great news op. I hope all goes well.

Wfh works best for me in practical terms but do miss out on the social side.

This is where people think I’m crazy.

When the trains are running fine it’s a 2 hour each way but fortunately I occasionally can count some of that time as work time.

Jesus!

Couldn’t imagine going through that to get to work.

Each too their own , as they say, you obviously thrive on it.

Hope your return goes well.

Enjoy your day OP.

I have also been WFH for over a year and very much looking forward to getting back on the office next month for a couple of days a week. I miss the office banter and want some seperation again between work and home.

Kx

I may not have to go back to the office as I've been working from home throughout and it's working a treat for me as well as others. Though I find I'm doing more hours.
