Nose piercing.

Had my nose pierced today, chose to have a ring put in it straight away rather than a stud, now I feel like it looks stupid! Is it just one of those things where you’ll get used to it the more you see your reflection?

Haven’t had anything pierced for donkeys years!

You get used to it, you'll be cockeyed for days as you'll be mega conscious of it but that will wear off soon enough. I still have mine in after years.

I bet it looks ace and it's just coz you're not used to it.

I'd love mine done but I tried both sides and my nose kept spitting it out and went bad. Was years ago mind you.

I'm on my third nose piercing and I've stuck with it this time.

Stud or hoop, you'll be conscious of it for quite a while and then itll just be part of you.

I'm sure it looks lovely

You'll get used to it Annie, it's just because you're not used to seeing a chunk of metal sticking out of your nose.

I want my septum doing but probably not a good idea as my nose isn't very well built now after breaking it so many times

Definitely a thing you get used to - I've had my nose pierced a couple of times and each time I spent the first week or so thinking how ugly my nose was and how ridiculous the stud looked. Now I quite like wearing them. I'm sure yours looks great OP.

I had mine removed, as it was all I could think about. I knew it was time to take it out when a workmate asked me what the time was and I said ‘nose stud’.

I’m sure you get less brave as you get older cos I was shitting myself. Had the left side done and my left eye watered like a bitch.

Still got my tongue pierced from 1999! Years ago I’d decide on the day and just walk in to the tattoo shop and get something pierced. One day had my labret and monroe pierced the same time and didn’t think anything of it. They’ve long gone now.

Last thing I had pierced was my tragus the left and right side one after the other, that was 11 years ago.

Aw I got my nose pierced a few years ago...something I'd wanted done for ages! It actually came out and I couldn't get it back but it's something I want to do again!

Well done for doing it and I'm sure you will get used to it and it looks great!

I've always wanted a tiny dainty little nose stud, but my nose has huge pores and I don't want to draw attention to them.

You will get used to it. Like a new drastic hair cut.

I took mine out.

You'll get used to it.

Used to have three nose piercings and I used to constantly fiddle with the rings (don't fiddle with it until the hole has completely healed).

You can get horseshoe style septum jewellery that tucks up out of the way if work don't like it xx

My sister has had her septum pierced for 10 years now but you’d never know because she pushes it right up inside.

I got my nose pierced at 16, 4 hours later I took it out because I hated how it looked and I could see it all the time (wonky eyes).

It massively suits other people, just not me.

I haven't read the replies so don't know what you have decided to do, but I'd say stick with it a week and decide then

Think I’m gonna wait till I can change the jewellery and then if I still don’t like it I’ll take it out.

I was the same when I had my nose pierced, but now I would not change it for a stud, unless it was a fit human stud lol

I wish, its been broken that often that it's fragile and breaks easily.

It’s your body do whatever you want to with it

Personally the nose piercing, if it’s a ring through one side I think is hot as hell.

However the one through the bottom of the nose, I’m sure there is a term for it, it’s a no from me
