Just for fun, you've got £10,000 to spend on a car, what are you buying and why?
I love my mini, so if I was to change I'm most likely to get a newer mini.
(As there is nothing wrong with mine and I'm quite happy with it though, I won't be changing just yet) |

"I'd go for a short base Ford Transit high roof, with few adjustments you can convert the inside for any occasion. "
As in you would make it a campervan? Or food truck? What would you do with it? |

Anything you need you place a few brackets and keep few solid pieces of wood and furniture in the garage you can convert it every few days for whatever you need it, just not sure about sex swing.. but a bj booth or something at the back .. even complying with covid regulations hahah single file traffic in the vehicle |

"I'd probably get a newer Mini as well. I've had mine since November and love it so much. If the money would get me a JCW that's what I'd do "
My daughter has recently bought a Mini Cooper S Countryman 4WD Hybrid, cost her thick end of 20K.
It is a far cry from the Mini Cooper S cars of the early 60s from which I derived great pleasure. |

I'm not keen on the newer shape, I've got an F56 ~ still looks like a proper mini but with the added bonus of a bmw engine. But I'd love a JCW same sort of age as mine |

I prefer the r53 with the supercharged engine. I'm thinking of getting one shortly. |

With 3 kids, 10, 5, and 1 the Countryman is proving to have been a good choice
The F56 is a good choice, pretty and practical. |

"New Dacia Sandero. Plenty of change left for fuel.
I'd need 14k for the top of the range Stepway"
Too many unnecessary toys. We nearly bought an Access but no split fold rear seat was the decider. |

I'd get a last year gen7 Toyota Celica Tsport (2006) and still have enough left over to make sure it's completely tip top with a couple of engine tweaks for better performance
I already have a stock gen7 Celica and absolutely love it. |

I'd probably get a convertible of some kind. I've never owned one before.
I kind of like the fact I will be joining the middle aged convertible owners club |

"The best Landrover Defender 90 you can get for the money...very cool, go anywhere, slowly, and will be an investment..."
Bought mine for 10 grand 8 years ago and got offered 12 and a half for it couple months back.
It’s not parked up and just used occasionally either, it’s my only transport. |

Go for it for the two or three days a year we get in the northwest its definitely worth it.
I'm definitely middle aged if not heading past it and over the last 25 years I've owned 6 convertibles including the one I have at the moment. |

There some very diverse and some fabulous car ideas in here.
My mini is a small chassis clubman, it does seat 3 in the back but it is very tight.
It is quite amazing though, with the seats down how much stuff I can get in there, as anyone who has seen me roll up to a lifestyle festival probably can give testament to!!! |

"Newer spider.. 2007 on... something with red leather " forgot to add the why... for me it would be as I could for that money get a nice looking car imho , that will have the style of my older alfas but without the niggles.
I also just love my alfas. I like how they drive, look and its my happy place. To be fair if I was spending 10k on cars, i would probably buy a 159 estate diesel and a spider for that money. |

I would love have a bespoke VW Campervan (79 ish era), wonder if the heating is poor in these?
I some how think £10,000 isn't going to dent the asking price though. I understand they are quite collectable at the moment.... |

I'd love a clubby to, the extra space and the back doors would be very handy |

A Citroen 2CV, decently restored, galvanised chassis and roll back roof.
We don't need to go anywhere quickly, we just use the time to plan what we are going to get up to when we do get there |
