Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Definitely the young people. They've had a horrible pandemic as they reached an age when they could expect more freedom and haven't had that opportunity.
Then one has come out as trans and their siblings have been fully supportive. It's been really lovely to see how compassionate they are.

My kids is the obvious answer but I’m trying to think outside the box and answer differently.
My career, I followed a dream and wouldn’t take no for an answer. All those people who said “you’ll never be a.......” and I did. I did it and it took me around the world.
Apart from my kids, that’s my proudest achievement |

I'm pretty proud of me... I have dealt with what seems like a deluge of massively shitty things for far too much of my life and I am still here, I haven't killed anyone and I think I am still a fairly decent, even if a little jaded, person. I am also pretty happy with my life after thinking I never could be again... And apart from not loving being fat again... I think I look pretty good, for the most part... I'm ok |

My boys for sure. Eldest because he has grown into one of the kindest most thoughtful men I know, works hard, bought his house round the corner from me at 22 years old after years of saving and working two or three jobs at a time. Now is a CAD designer.
Youngest because he has a badass attitude, left home to go to University over 300 mile away to study his dream of Game Development and Maths
Within the first year he had lost two grandparents six months apart, ended up having a breakdown with stress....I got him help and the Uni allowed him to repeat his first year, it was scary. I never wanted him to go back he was determined....The end of that year he passed his exams with distinctions...He hadn't touched the medication he was prescribed, telling me that he was determined to overcome his issues without it and had kept it as a motivator
He continued to study, completed his degree and applied for jobs at two gaming companies in Edinburgh, one run by his idol, the other world renowned. He got offered both positions; he chose his idol
Been developing games for two years now and he loves it. And it is a good excuse to visit Edinburgh as often as I can |

My mum. She broke her hip 4days after her 81st birthday and within 12weeks she was walking again. She is also back driving and hoping to get back to her swimming and gym groups very soon. My mum was widowed at 57 and I am so proud of the way she has lived her life solo even though it was tough at times. |

Myself.
I'm finally getting to where I want to be with my career and my income is going to increase dramatically. Its took me long enough but the aim is to save enough to have a place completely of my own for the first time. My own space, that I will achieve independently. Without the help of a spouse.
