Hi all. In September me and some Colleagues are doing the coast to coast challenge (Whitehaven to Sunderland) Does anyone have any advice for us or want to sponser us?? We are doing it in aid of the great north air ambulance so if you want to sponsor us send me a message and i could provide the just giving link if you need it.

Ahh nice one sorry for not mentioning it before... We are going by pedal power!! cycling it all a total of around 145 miles. A long way for people like me who drink too much and smoke too much and work too hard lol |

I did that route in a day in 2010.
Best tip is not to stop too early, we had our first break at Keswick and it was too soon in retrospect.
Make sure you have some good quality shorts with a pad,a bar-bag rather than rucksack is a good option etc.
Main thing is to practice, practice, practice! |
