I like going to cinema on my own but gigs are more social so only if someone has cancelled. I saw Paul Weller at a small venue very early in his solo career and my friend called sick - he missed a fantastic performance. |

Yep, I was living in the US for a while when I was in my 20’s and went to lots of gigs in my own. Favourite was seeing Less Than Jake in some Student bar in Chicago, worst was Fugazi in Boston where I was mugged on the way home. |

I had tickets twice to go to Leeds fest but both times I couldn't persuade anyone to go with me. I ended up selling them both times as I didn't want to go on my own |

I went to see Incubus on my own about 2 months after loosing my partner. I was in a horrible place and could barely leave the house, on my own but he introduced me to them and I utterly loved him and them so... |

"Does going to the cinema by yourself count think I did just the once"
I suppose it could as it’s normally seen as a place you go with friends or a partner. I must admit I couldn’t imagine going to the cinema on a Friday or Saturday night on my own, but happy on a Wednesday afternoon.
To answer the question Op, I’ve never been to a gig on my own but I would |

Just before the pandemic etc, I went to see Grand Magus on my own at Academy 3 in Manchester. The "wheelchair" space was just me right at the front by the barrier, where the band comes out
My son was supposed to come but he couldn't get the night off work... |
