"Put a fruity tbag in gin, leave it a few mins you get amazing fruity gin. "
That’s brilliant! I love the smell of fruit “teas” but not the taste of them in just in water. I’m going to try putting them in cider too. |

"Agreed, tea comes from a tea plant. Don't get fruit coffee why tea?
You can get fruit flavoured coffee as well now. "
I read - on here - that you can get peanut butter and jam flavoured beer....... doesn't make it right but at least it has beer as it's main. |

Why would I want fruity Gin ?
If God ( i'm atheist ) meant juniper to taste like mandarin....... he'd have done that .......
I want Juniper in my Gin .... not a banana |

Redbush isn't tea either. No caffeine and tastes like cooked twigs. |

Nothing like an 'armchair expert' for sticking their custard cream in your rooibos....... "

"Anyone fancy a brew ?
Got one thanks.
It's decaffeinated though
basically a sin - like the placebo of teas. "
My stomach doesn't like the caffeine. I can't take menopausal sweats with caffeine sweats. |

Fruity teas are NOT tea okay ? Now stop it .....
Agreed.
They’re infusions. A tea is also an infusion but an infusion isn’t a tea "
Now I'm completely infused. |

'Herbal tea' is in more common usage although it is not 'tea' as it doesn't contain caffeine nor leaves from the tea plant. Probably used because most people would understand 'tea' to mean 'leaves steeped in (hot) water'. Tea becomes a generic word like hoover for a vacuum cleaner or google for searching the web.
Tisane is a french word and is not in common usage. |

Green tea is tea as it's made from Camellia sinensis (the tea plant). |
