If you get along well as friends then yes indeed 
Not sure for long term though. Aslong as you don't become dependant on the other person for anything except intimacy should be fine. |

To be honest, I think if you are going to be intimate with someone over a long period of time, you would be quite a hard hearted person if emotions don't start to creep in - and thats where complications start.................xx  xx |

well we met as singles over two years ago and started off as fuck buddies but we now live together and are engaged so it can work, it just depends on what you are both looking for and whether you both feel the same |

I think as well as how well you get on, it depends about the regularity of you calling on your fuck buddy. If it's once a week and not much chat in the mean time it could work long term.
If however it is 3 nights a week all of which the whole night is spent together having a good time and enjoying the company then even if one of the people involved doesn't start to get attached it's almost inevitable the other one will.
gotta be open about it.

short turm I think they can be good but any longer it can be a hard thing.

Mr. Hot Date and I are currently just playmates for each other.
We are not each other's "types" for life partners, and are not emotionally attached.
We tick a lot of each other's boxes when it comes to play time 
At this moment in time, we try to see each other once or twice a month, as that's all we could fit into each other's busy schedules.
He is aware I have other playmates, and am not prepared to go exclusive with him.
He is seeking other playmates himself.
We are happy to maintain our level of activities at present 
So it works for me at the mo! |
