I watch a lot of Rick Stein food programmes. He advocates for how tasty they are. Is he fibbing?

If you like the taste of the sea, you'll like oysters. If you don't, you won't.

never been able to try them as whenever I could have, I decided better of it.

I love anything to do with the sea, but it's the texture that puts me off oysters

Did you read that the supply of oysters to Britain is going to halve because of Brexit and Covid?

Fresh oysters are delicious.

I just shuck, drop of green Tabasco and down the hatch. Delicious.

Woman on the fish stall today selling Jersey oysters, puts her’s in the oven 3 mins, garlic and cheese.

I'm guessing without the seasoning or sauces they taste like seawater.

I can't get past the look or texture of them to find out.

If you don't chew them how do you know they are delicious?

You could save yourself a few bob and swig on the Tabasco bottle.

Still taste them if you swallow. Like spunk really.

The Tabasco just adds to the flavour or add what dressing you want.

I once read a cheap paperback where a woman was captured by natives who shucked oysters from a bucket and dropped them into her vagina. Then slurped them out.
