I have a friend who is mixed race and she often mentions how people constantly tell her she looks like anyone basically with similar skin and hair colour...blows my mind!

Yes, I've been told I look like every mixed race woman that's vaguely famous at some point in my life. I think perhaps we all blur into one golden skinned goddess and we're not that indistinguishable?  It's ridiculous really, my sister and I are polar opposites in looks, facial features everything and yet people say we look so similar.  |

I always find it a bit weird when people say I look better than my pictures...I'm not sure if they're just blowing smoke up my arse or if I've accidentally activated the gargoyle filter on my pictures |

When I first joined these comments hit me hard and it knocked my confidence so much. Now? I don't really care - we can't be for everyone and if people want to make it known and be rude, then that just shows they were never good enough for you in the first place."
Most men who say this stuff are normally to scared to ask you out because you would say no...so they attack first.... |

Once went on a tinder date. Meeting at a vanilla club. I turned up early. She eventually gets there 15 mins late, sees me, walks over to the bouncer and told him I was stalking her and asked him to not let me in the club
True story.
That was a low point for me.
That's awful. Mines always been on here. Had my fair share of shit in messages off women and couples. And I mean nasty. To the point of blows all your confidence away and then actually wonder to myself what the hell am I doing here "

In the past when i've asked why i've been answered with "your vocabulary is too good to be an American's"
