Living on your own can be a pain when it comes to food shopping, most of the time, things like meat is packed in 2s or 4s, or designed for a family by weight.
With that in mind, I bought a vac sealer, now I can split the stuff into individual portion sizes , stick them in the freezer, and pull the out one at a time.

Why do you need a vac sealer for splitting portions of meat? Cover them in cling film and freeze or batch cook and freeze the portions in tupperware.
Most used kitchen utensils would be saucepans and knives. |

The personal blender is something I have used a lot. I make a smoothie, put a lid on and pop it in the fridge. Very handy when I worked in an office.
We also found a brand new spiraliser in a charity shop for a tenner. Instead of pasta we use courgettes. It's much healthier. We've easily had our money's worth out of that. |

I have a device that boils water, you pour cold water in, switch it on and hey presto in 2-3 minutes you have boiling water, to save time I simply freeze the boiling water and then when I want say a cup of tea or a Pot Noodle i take the frozen boiled water out of the freezer wait for it to thaw and then put back into the kettle and voila you have more boiling water. What a time to be alive. |

This is something I can't understand. Why does boiling water freeze faster than cold water ? |

If I'm being precise with the question; chopping boards and Sabatier knife.
To be more interesting; I bloody love my potato ricer and laser thermometer. Strongly recommend. |

I don't need a splash guard. I just don't wank while I'm cooking. Luke |

I recently treated myself to a new set of saucepans, after 25 years of service my old ones needed replacing. They are amazing, even my scrambled egg doesn't get stuck.
I've got an egg poacher which is great and a coffee bean grinder which gets a lot of use |
