Hi everyone I’m looking for some advice.I’m looking at dipping my toes into the amateur porn industry I have been accepted by crimson talent management and have some scenes set up for me.The problem I have is that they want me to pay a 6 month fee of £450 is this a normal thing ? They also say they have a one 2 one scene for me next Friday and it pays £1100 this seems a lot for a first time performer. What are your thoughts and does anybody know anything about crimson talent management |

If money is changing hands, it ain't 'amateur porn'.
Back away slowly. |

I wouldn’t give money out unless
A) you’ve checked they are reputable
B) Checked them on Companies House (to see how their finances are)
C). Asked for a list of their work so you can check you are happy with the quality etc.
D) get a written signed Contract
E) Checked the Contract thoroughly as to the expectations on you and what’s in it for them, and what they can do with your stuff.
Google the company or the person and see if any hits come up that raise a red flag.
But personally having to exchange money is a red flag. You have no comeback. They could be relying on you to be too embarrassed to chase them for reimbursement.
Be very careful OP. |

It has scam written all over it from where I'm sitting. Over a grand for a male performer seems a lot for a seasoned pro let alone a newbie. It sounds like they want that £450 of yours and then to tell you to get knotted. |

I don't know about the porn industry, but I know with modelling if the agency wants you to pay, they are scamming you.
Once they have your money, they don't need to sell your work, so they won't (or won't try hard). You will be out of pocket and they will have your photos (in this case videos).
Any good agencies will just take a cut of the earnings you make, and that is there incentive to get you work. |

It's a scam; simply a variation on an old theme.
Money up front, and then you won't hear from them again.
If you're interested in amateur porn, that I would assume many people on this site are, do your own thing; without being scammed out of £450.

I've worked in the amateur porn industry
I see it if it as your filming it your self it's an amateur vid
If you have someone filming you and booking for you then I'd say it wasn't amateur
Personally I'd stay away
Only do what your happy with |

Sounds like a scam. I have done a little porn and you're just paid hourly or by shoot. If you're lucky you get small amounts of royalties. No initial fees!
Women always get paid 4-5x more than men. £1100 for one shoot for a guy is a lot (suspicious). That's what I'd expect to be paid as a female doing a large bareback gangbang or fetish shoot xx |

"Doing some reverse image searching from the "meet the tean" page is interesting.
Run, don't walk away."
Oh my god. I just did the same. To be fair you don’t really need TinEye to tell you those office pictures are fake.
Whoever set that site up isn’t a criminal mastermind. |

Thing is... You sooo want it to be true don't you.? If something sounds too good to be true... It is.
No doubt they had a bronze silver and gold service where they charge you but don't guarantee work.
It's a scam. |
