Scrolling through local updates, I spotted a new, unverified account asking for someone 8” or bigger.
So I sent her a message telling her I’m 5’6.
Don’t think it went down well as she blocked me

Years ago a guy was boasting about being a huge 8 inches, I pointed out that surely that is quite short. To say that it went over his head and he never saw the funny side is an understatement. |

Just because somebody didn't find a message funny doesn't mean its ok to start a thread mocking them and for people to say that she obviously doesn't have a sense of humour.

It isn’t always a good thing to be funny, I suppose. It depends on how the other person is feeling at the time. It’s so difficult to gauge that when we can’t read each other’s facial nuance and body language. |

The blocking after one hello or humorous reply I can almost understand. Maybe they got the joke but knew in that one line that your humour didn't align with theirs?
Blocking after exchanging lots of messages that were specific to tailoring an amazing meet, with no warning signs, I don't get. That's the block that stings a little.  |
