The one that sticks in my mind is Watership Down, aged 7.... I’ve never rewatched it. Saw movies before then but haven’t stuck as a memory
First surround sound and big screen was Top Gun in Leicester Square |

"Mine was Superman 2, remember sitting on my dads knee to watch it, what was the first movie you went the cinema to watch?"
S.w.a.l.k.
It was a while ago... When kids could go on their own. The flea pit. |

Watership Down will go down in history as the worst classified film ever.
Was classified as a U and should have been 18. Scarred any child that saw it. |

The original Star Wars film my Dad would take us every Saturday.
He also took me to see Watership Down thinking I'd like the Rabbits, I cried, and still get traumatised now if I watch it....
He also thought Bambi was a good idea! I cried
My poor Dad! |

Most definitely, saw it on TV when we were staying at my uncles, went to bed bawling my eyes out asking my mum why did the rabbit have to die
Still can't listen to bright eyes... |

To right, my folks still apologise now if it gets bought up for the nightmares, I just say you had your punishment then as had to deal with them.
Daft thing I used to watch late night hammer house of horrors with my Nanna, but that wasn’t real so ok. Cute fluffy bunnies turned psycho whole different story |

There and to the left a bit |
I don't remember it but was taken to see Bambi sometime in the 60s and apparently screamed the place down so had to be taken out.
First ones I can remember being taken to see are Oliver!, Sound Of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Battle Of Britain although not sure which was the first |

First one that I can just about remember, because I was only about 3 or 4, would have been The Aristocats with my dad. I'm fairly sure it was just to get out of the house as mum had shingles at the time |

Mine was in the late 80s and the Odeon cinema in Leeds had a special of Star Wars - A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi - back to back one Saturday afternoon. I went with my dad 3 mates and their dads. It was amazing and I remember the sheer volume of and popcorn consumed |
