I think that the best cosplay is where they look like the character, as well as having the costume on point |

Indo a bit of cosplaying now and again, have done Scorpion & Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat X at Liverpool Comic Con and also a few local ones.
Currently working on about 5 projects slowly though:
guyver, wings of redemption Spawn, sektor/cyrax/smoke as triborg, AckAck from Mars attacks & RoboCop (will be able to ride the motorbike in the cosplay) |

I'll be honest I mainly started going to photograph the cosplayers, but since 2018 I started to dip my toe in as I thought it would be good to get more involved!
Needless to say I've made some amazing friends through it and quite often do photos for them outside of the cons in different settings |

I've made a few costumes and props for some parties I go to.
Still very much learning the skills, but it's good fun.
The most recent was a MadMax costume with leather trousers and jacket, engineer boots and home made shoulder pad, leg-brace and sawn-off shotgun.
Didn't get the chance to wear it due to lockdown. |

And those photos look great! It depends whether you want to cosplay and play, or wear it out. If it’s wear it out then a convention is probably the way forward. For play it would be a club |

 Here’s an idea Maybe once things start ticking along again we can arrange socials around the next event/comic con etc.
Once a date and place is set for an event we can see who’s going where and when and set up smaller groups of those attending where folks can discuss outfit choices, share ideas or just arrange hotels to meet in after

Iv been to loads of conventions and done a fair few Cosplays, judge dredd, the punisher, fallout ncr ranger, one thing i would say is most of them would be difficult to say the least to have any fun in ( not that I wouldnt be up for the chalange) I can't even bend down in my dredd armour lol |
