I purchased an electric tyre inflator 20 years ago, it basically went wrong first time I used it. Stuck it in the garage tried to forget about the disappointment.
Been mulling it over for 20 years, still angry about the money (30 quid) wasted. Between orgies on bank Holiday I got it out, took it apart, soldered it, and only bloody well fixed it.
Over the moon. The anger has gone now. Chuffed. |

I felt the same when I fitted an aux cable in to an old car so I could play music from my phone on my radio.
Also when I fixed the central locking on my car and reset my window regulator.
All learnt from YouTube 
Now I really want to install a multi media type thing in my current car....jyst got to find the right system. |

I just went down the route of usb stick load my music onto it and its small enough to fit in a wallet or purse.
also better having bluetooth with it so phone can connect to it as well
the jack plug was ok handy at times just a little bulky with other items you plugged into them. |

Yep I did the aux cable thing as well although that's fairly weak sauce compared to fixing a compressor.
I was also vaguely looking at these car multimedia heads but I'm not convinced they do anything I can't do off my phone anyway.  |

Ok smarty pants.... Where could I have plugged the USB stick into considering there was no USB port
plus by going through the aux cable I could also have my maps run through it when navigating to strange places. There was no Bluetooth option. It was an old car. |

Replaced the whole engine on a motorbike after i put the chain through the crankcase and Yamaha did a poor repair job alllowing the clutch to stay open as they just filled the hole with Araldite
Then the day after i fixed it i crashed the thing anyway |
