I dont believe in all the horoscope mumbo jumbo, but this morning, for something to do, I thought I would have a look at my birth sign traits.
With a certain amount of scepticism, I started to read about the capricorn.
To say I was actually surprised is an understatement, that I actually display so many traits associated with my birth sign, both the good and the bad, it's quite scary

"Ah but pick a random other birth sign and see how many of those match.
Then give us the result"
you would actually be surprised how many dont match up, if what is defined as a trait, there may be a small amount of crossover, but it does seem to be minimal |

The reason they are accurate is because they are so vague. Most of the described traits are positive, so unless you have a real downer on yourself, they list traits that most people aspire to or that many people see in themselves as character flaws.
If you want to know if star signs have anything of value to say to you, look at all of the descriptions and not just your own. There is an extremely high chance you will align with most of them.
Better still, look at the descriptions without knowing which is which and see if you can tell which one is yours. I bet you that will be a difficult task (except that you have already knowingly read your own so you would recognise it). |

I’m a cap too and typical of my sign. We are meant to be more interested in kinky sex than most other signs, except for Scorpio.  |

It’s skilfully written as to appear unique but is universal, if you read the other horoscopes you’ll probably find them to be scarily accurate too |

It’s called cold reading.
Go read a bunch of birth signs that aren’t yours. Most will still fit you.
They are intentionally vague so that most people can fill in the gaps and think it’s truth.
Big red flag for me is “what’s your star sign” |

Independent - completely, retaining personal freedom is a thing I'll fight for
Easy going - I mean the above doesn't indicate that, but I'd like to think so

Me in some ways yes and some ways no. To be honest I think because we all show most traits to some extent its quite easy to see yourself in most of them.
Though I do enjoy amusing myself by calling one of my partners a "typical Aquarius  " over any random thing ever since he said the descriptions were annoyingly accurate . |

The weird thing is that 90% of men that I chat with on here or have met and have been fwb’s with all turn out to be the same sign and I never ask them until later. |
