Long story but with a lot going on at the moment and not much time I'm mostly eating rubbish and microwave meals.
Any recipe suggestions for quick, easy, healthy and tasty meals to batch cook would be appreciated.
Could use google but I prefer personal recommendations

First you need to ask yourself what you like, instead of looking for random suggestions, then figuring out if you batch cook it or speed up the longer parts of preparing it.
No good batch cooking food you won’t eat
So what do you like? |

I'm open minded with food and happy to receive random suggestions.
If I only eat what I know I like i would never get to find new meals I might love.
And I'd try a single meal first before batch cooking loads. |

I live off batch cooked then frozen home made food.
Chilli.
Hot beef stew.
Brisket, various ways.
Lentil dal.
Chicken casserole.
Venison stew.
List is endless. If you're serious about it, I'd get a pressure cooker. |

Can you tell me more about the pressure cooker?
I’ve got a slow cooker, I’ve prepped simple stuff like chilli in it, but I’ve been looking at pressure cookers for ages.
My problem is I have an addiction to cooking gadgets and I have a fair few I’ve bought and never used..
Tell me the good bad and the ugly! |

You can make puddings in a SC too. In fact I got a book, and it shocked me how versatile they were. |

OP,better using oven than microwave yo heat up the meal
This is the first thing
Secondly, think what you like to eat, and what products you dont like to eat or having allergies
Next step is think if your freezer is big enough for batch cooking.
I dont eat meat at all, only seafood, so mostly doing everything from scratch
If I know will be working longer, then prepare something, divide for portions and freeze them.
Adding fresh greens and other choopped veggies to the meal once is warm.
I do cook batches mostly with soups. |

It's a really good idea. Even tho I live alone, I usually make 4 - 6 portion of food and freeze it.
Good luck OP. |

Nearly everything can be batch cooked - I did mine today.
I got a lot of mince on offer so I made a chilli, a bolognese and a lasagne all portioned and put in the freezer ready to pop in the microwave and serve it with rice or pasta etc ..
I also portion veg to have with everything.
Last weekend I did a chicken curry and made a few sides.
It's so easy once you get into it and it saves eating shit food or takeaways |
