However sorry for the bad news OP
But at 54 whilst it's definitely possible it's going to be very hard work, the old metabolism says fare-thee-well around mid 40's then it's downhill from there on.
But it's possible but taking advice from a ripped 28 year old personal trainer is going to cause frustration.
Search specific information for chaps our age the diet and exercise required are quite different from someone who can fart out excess calories. |

Think you mean, ripped body?
Took me 3 months to cut 1.5 stone and now to tyres around waist ... next step is abs (basically core) / 3 months... set a milestone plan and go forward it... takes some time and effort, but totally worth it. |

Ok.....
I'll be the grown up ( hate that).
Cut out bread, sugar, fats and all that shit. Count the calories and stick to them. Sit ups and chin ups. Don't just stop with the diet either, it will go back on squillion times faster. It's easy really but ya need will power. |

Also, I don't have a ripping body. But I'll be following for more useful comments/advice. When you get that ripped one, you tell me where is mine hiding, together with my perseverance.. |
