just a question or two about this question 1 could anyone tell me if there is an actual dating app that works ? question 2 do ladies actually pay to join these site of do they get free membership |

I agree. I joined two well known ones in 2019 and had a 14 day get out and after 10 days realised I was being messaged by fakes to keep me on site so I cancelled with full refunds before the 14 days were up. I don’t know the answer OP but good luck. |

I had a creepy guy from a dating website asked was I on Fab, no idea how he assumed that, think he asked all women it but I blocked him on there. |

I've got a tinder profile although it's currently hidden. I've never paid to use the site though. Got chatting to a few guys on there who are also on here. |

It's funny how many 20 odd year olds fancy me and want to chat to me on it (providing I buy a sibscription or credits). On here they just tell me to go away (but less politely) |

I think there are a couple good sites that were set up and run by women and designed for women. All the rest are scams that charge you sums of money to chat to created profiles “for entertainment purposes” in their Ts&Cs small print. |

Dating apps some are free to communicate and positively can work depending upon what one is looking for I've made ex amount of friends just because the distance was impossible or a struggle to see each other as much to develop into a relationship but I never say never because if click so well it's worth it |

I was on paid for subscriptions of pof and Badoo (not at the same) and realised I was wasting my money and time... as I’m pretty sure they are both just Fab in disguise! Lol
So I’ve succumbed to staying single and being on here nowadays and I’m saving myself money in the process.

I know people that have had success, with Tinder, POF, Bumble, Hinge and Badoo, so they can work.
But like with anything, you only get out of them what you put in.
You can't expect to just join and expect people to start falling at your feet.
A well written profile and good photos would be a great start though... I 'really' need to improve on that stuff myself as mine is crap |

I think the issue with dating sites is similar to this, women get bombarded with messages and can’t reply to everyone, a lot of guys will message everyone they can to try and get a reply then there are the few who only message one or two people.
If you fall into the last category your still at a disadvantage no matter how genuine you may be because you message might simply get lost within a flood of others |
