Which country/nationality is the obscurest you've had? Uganda for me. Any fellow travellers around, where do you want to go next?

Travel wise, I've not been anywhere really obscure

Sex wise, I think sucking a Swedish guy off in an Ikea car park was an amusing combination

I had a trip for next February booked to Myanmar but unsurprisingly it has been cancelled.

I have been on small boat river cruises in Vietnam and Cambodia which I really enjoyed so thought this would be interesting too.

Cuba is beautiful.been a few times and booked again for next year . Don't go expecting 4 and 5 star even if says that.. The sanctions make it very difficult for them.. Great people and I've never felt unsafe when out and about..

We stayed with a couple in Havana a few years ago they let out a room b and b.. But that was arranged by our guide from a hotel resort at the other end of the country.. So there must be some available and they have more Internet now so able to advertise

India is most exotic place I have visited so far. Lovely country and people.

Did however find it weird when you went off the beaten track the looks you get/got for being a white person. Spent some time relaxing in goa and definitely had a few stares, should have acted on that in hindsight

"Anyone been to south America? Very attractive women "

I've been to Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Nicaragua. I didn't get intimate with any of the locals.

Iran

When the Shah still ruled but the revolution was taking hold. When he escaped, we were evacuated with just the clothes we wore. It left an indelible impression on me to never value things because people are all that matter.

I find the more obscure places in Africa quite fascinating. I’d love to visit Cambodia!

I loved Cuba but it was back in 2005. I do wonder if it’s changed much

Vanuatu - the happiest place on earth.

Most remote place I’ve been is The Andaman Islands but technically they’re part of India

Somewhere near here

The Gambia, we stayed a village on a university trip, well and truly experienced life as a local. Was very life change experience and would love to go again.

Worse bit though, being dropped off by a taxi in the wrong place in Banjul and a man hobbling over saying “I know where your people are”. No choice really but to follow him, had lots of stares and shouts for the colour of my skin and size (I was about a size 20 back then).

Thankfully he did know where my people were, in an English bar with my lecturer pacing on the phone to university because she’d lost a couple of students. Got a couple of drinks out of it!

Love India, Pushkar, Jodhpur and camping in the desert at Jaisalmer is like another world. I did most of Rahjistan by Uber ! Goa is great too and popular on fab too, locals and tourists.
