I love a bargain, who doesn't!

Today I will be out & about browsing around my local Car boot sale again.

I have nothing particularly in mind to look for other than a picture frame & maybe some massage tools.

but it's always exciting as one person's junk is another person's treasure!

I wonder what I will find today?

What is the best bargain you have found at a car boot sale or charity shop?

Just over there

I love a charity shop day! We have the most amount of charity shops in our town in the country! Coach trips for this purpose run here!

Bootsales haven't really started up round here but then I can't get up on the mornings so it's a moot point really

Good luck finding some bargains!

Great to hear you getting out and about Bella

I suppose that I'm quite beige with charity shops. My last purchase was a sporting yearbook that I enjoyed reading and still refer to from time to time.

It's so good that the weather is nice today to allow me to get out and about to my favourite boot sale.

I am a fair weather bargain hunter lol.

Oh my! Now I would love a day trip wherever you are!

We have quite a few charity shops in Taunton for the size of the town, but some are still closed & I don't know when they plan on reopening again.

I had a social in an Antiques Centre

What a lovely afternoon that was, chatting and browsing

I bought a home made medicine box that had come from Belgium

It still had some of the old bandages and lints inside

I don't know if it was a bargain or not, but I love it

Certainly better looking than the plastic tub I had previously

South

I love rummaging in charity shops, usually for jewellery, scarves or children’s books and I check out the pictures and lamps.

My bargain was a beside table for £10. Probably would have been £30-£40 new.

Pick me up some Sharpe books please. They compliment my studies at the moment albeit with a heck of a lot of artistic licence.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I remember combing the flea markets in northern California with my patents looking for deals / bargains.

Books for my mom, audio equipment / components for my dad and used vidoe games / comics for me.

Great times

That's a great idea for a social too!

Can't walk past a 2nd hand bookshop without popping in and rummaging. Last find was 'Boys in Zinc' by Svetlana Alexievich.

Portsmouth

Love a bargain, have missed the charity shops being open.

My mum got a Mathew Williamson handbag for a few quid, they're usually really expensive.
