Actually yes. The fact that he knew he was dying makes it incredibly poignant. And the video for "Days of our lives." Last thing he did with the band, and wearing so much makeup to cover it. Heartbreaking.

Abercynon-ish

"Pink Floyd - Two Suns in the Sunset.

The lyrics are about a possible nuclear bomb doing off (two suns).

Incredible song, as is Roger Waters new version released during lockdown.

There are so many that have that effect, its hard to name them all

The final cut is also an incredible song.

Its nice to see Floyd popping up regular on the thread.

Roger Waters - its a miracle

That's because they're great and make music that moves you "

The Roger Waters version of John Prine's Hello in there on YT is a real tearjerker.

There's a live version of Wild Theme from the Local Hero soundtrack that gets me. Although that's because of what it signified in a previous relationship, and I'm getting to the point where I can listen to it again now

After much thinking I can’t lie the Avengers theme does give me goosebumps, especially during endgame for the final battle, I was tingling during the portal sequence

My funeral song is ‘curse of the traveller’ by Chris Rea. I heard it one night as a teenager on a radio station and knew it would be a song that’ll follow me throughout my life. I can quote the lyrics the way a fan of poetry can quote their favourite poem.

If there was ever a song that captures how I feel, it’s that one.

Some great stuff already mentioned, have a soft spot for Floyd, Dire Straits, Eva Cassidy to name but 3.

Oldie, but The Impossible Dream, Andy Williams....can't hear it without thinking of the advert for, I think it was Foxes Glacier Mints, the ice skating Polar Bear.

May well be my funeral song

Judas by Fozzy every time, more so at wrestling shows when the fans are singing louder than the speaker system

Sooooo many songs give me that euphoric goosebump feeling. Today I'm choosing.....

Little Wing - Jimmy Hendrix, and the Eric Clapton Steve Winwood version

Tonight Tonight - Smashing Pumpkins

Son of a Preacher Man - Aretha Franklin's version

Empty - The Cranberries
