If ever end up with any power/authority (which procrastination prevents anyway) I’d ban all oven chips, make all takeaways serve proper chippy chips and ban french fries.

There I’ve said it. Vote for me!

Solihull and Brentwood

Prefer my local chippys, chips. Though McCain's straight cut oven, or French fries, are not bad.

Straight.

I can't really see the point in crinkle cut, they don't add anything extra to me.

Both are so much better than fries though.

I recently got an Airfryer. So it's home made, roughly straight chips all the way for me.

They come out great.

The Town by The Cross

I would like to recommend the chips I discovered in Aldi a few weeks ago ......

They are called ( hang on I have to go to freezer ) Slim Well Oven Chips.....

Dry ( not greasy ) skin on and actually taste like potato!

Low calorie not greasy. I love em!

Oh .... they are NOT crinkly
