Happens to most at some point. What's important now is how you deal with it.

I'd reccomend starting with self care. And I dont necessarily mean wanking. Although now I mention it...

"We’re all fools… all the time. It’s just we’re a different kind each day. We think, I’m not a fool today. I’ve learned my lesson. I was a fool yesterday but not this morning. Then tomorrow we find out that, yes, we were a fool today too. I think the only way we can grow and get on in this world is to accept the fact we’re not perfect and live accordingly"

Easily done. It can bite you on the bum, but the heightened emotions that letting your guard down brings are what life's all about, I reckon.

.

I think our feelings and the depth of them are our strength. At times they can hurt, really hurt but we have such a capacity to care, to love, to feel, to experience the good and exciting in the world. That's what keeps us going, the hope that there might be more things that inspire such feelings in us.

I imagine you're hurting a bit right now pp, I hope it passes for you soon and you don't lose hope. Sending you hugs, x

Nothing wrong or foolish about that.

It’s human nature. Sometimes it works out sometimes is doesn’t. But that’s life.

It would be a sad world if we all ventured through life without emotions..

I prefer to look at it like I'm fortunate to have been in a position to experience those feelings, no matter how briefly...there are many people in this world sat longing to meet someone that stirs that kind of emotion in them.

Feels are natural, it makes us human

Key is to understand why you had those feels... our senses are very powerful. You may have subconsciously linked the experience you had with what was happening in your surroundings ie, a smell or a song playing -the brain links this back to a previous experience - if it's a sexual one, then it's going to feel a little overwhelming.

Embrace the feels - box them - shelf them and move on

Unless of course they are reciprocated and you want more of them
