Anyone else suffer? Ive a slack reflux and suffered since i can remember, i take tablets to calm the burning but if i forget to take 1 its agony .

I don't have it but Mr N does so does my mum. The pain is often confused with a heart attack apparently. I know how annoying it is when strangers recommend things but have you tried sipping Luke warm water until you can get your medication back on track?

I find milk helps me. Otherwise, Calcium carbonate is a good temporary aid - great, if you're by the cliffs of Dover .

Dietary changes may help.
