I’m throwing in, Forever starring Ioan Gruffudd (Hornblower himself!).

It only lasted one miserly season but was wonderfully enjoyable.

Also, Ash vs Evil Dead. It managed three seasons which were all fantastic. I miss Ashey Slashey!

Marvel's Dungeons and Dragons. Not to be confused with the film of the same name.

The last episode was never broadcast.

Requiem, was the name of that missing piece

This would tie up all those loose ends.

The script has been written, a radio play production has been made, as some of the scenes in various format, cartoon and animated.

Come on Marvel! Stop the wait and finish off what should have been made complete in the late 1980s

So, in the age of Netflix et al why does it take Renault Brazil to give this series the big screen production it deserves? Come on Disney+ bring the kids home!

Hats off to their advertising agency.

Merlin. This was a fantastic series but the ending felt horribly rushed and was subsequently highly unsatisfactory.

In truth, the lead actor, Colin Morgan somewhat aided its cancellation when he decided he’d had enough and expressed his wish to quit the show.

Subsequently the BBC decided to lay the show to rest

"Quantum Leap "

Without doubt, one of the most pathetic endings to one of the most consistently enjoyable series ever!

So the story goes that the makers were told midway through filming the seventh season that the show was to be axed.

As a result, they had to hurriedly cobble some sort of ending together for it.

Fair enough - BUT- What a dreadful bloody ending it was!!! We, as viewers were ‘treated’ to a passage of text on the screen which stated that Sam never got home(!!!)

I remember Automan (cancelled again during its first and only season).

Apparently that particular year of production was an absolutely dire ratings disaster for ABC who subsequently axed numerous shows in a ‘Toys thrown out the pram!’ fit.

Here’s an obscure one: Hard Time On Planet Earth. Anyone remember it?

It was produced by CBS and starred none other than Martin Kove (yes, Sensei John Kreese himself!) in a rare good guy role for a change.

It concerned an alien (Kove) who as I recall, ends up stranded here on earth and his resulting adventures.

Unfortunately for him however, cancellation after a mere 13 episodes was one adventure he hadn’t banked on!

A classic now: The Invaders, starring the late Roy Thinnes which first aired in 1967 and lasted two seasons before being unceremoniously axed.

There was no bloody resolution to the story!!!

Until that was, a shitty, two part, made for TV series came along in the 1990’s (with Thinnes himself barely in it!).

Even now though, hearing that scary theme music causes my anal nerve to almost give out…..

Fellow period drama fans: Remember Sanditon? It was based on the unfinished novel by Jane Austin and was quite splendid viewing.

……until the ending that was, which sent Austin purists into a right old frenzy!

We all assumed therefore that a second season was on the cards for such a cliffhanger ending right?

Wrong! It’s been cancelled!

A sort of cross between Poldark and Downton Abbey, set in the scenic beauty of India; The production was truly lavish and ended on an exciting cliffhanger.

…..which we will now never know the outcome of as it was promptly cancelled shortly after the series finished airing!

Right then, someone with a twisted random sense of humour, like myself!

Yes, I did like that.

I don't like Bingo.

There is a canadian film called Bingo (1991) and the Americans like they do, speak a different language and shout BINGO!

When they have a full house. They also put the letters infront of the numbers, so 1 would be B1 and 90 would be o90, as they just wouldn't understand bingo lingo "Number ten, Maggies's den", "Number 1, Kelly's Eye" etc.

The smarter the phone...

"The Bill!

It’s coming back m’lady

No way! Seriously?

https://www.entertainmentdaily.co.uk/soaps/the-bill-is-returning-in-2021-but-which-originals-will-feature-and-what-is-the-new-name/

I always spoil you

Wow! You do "

Will be shit tho. Left it too long to keep it decent. Most of the characters wont be in it and with todays standards all the good jokes etc wont be allowed. I live the bill but this just wont work im afraid.

"Being from Liverpool miss brookside probably not many people remember that !

If you can remember all characters if you can "

I remember it, as I was in the cafe when Barry and Terry were looking for Petra, they grabbed a waitress's arm only to realise thay it wasn't her. I was also the reason why they had to take it again.

"What a waste!"I blurted out, off camera, as the salad was flung off the plate, she was holding".

That was in St Helens, I think it was the cafe in Baldwin street, just furthe up from The Sefton Arms.

"A classic now: The Invaders, starring the late Roy Thinnes which first aired in 1967 and lasted two seasons before being unceremoniously axed.

There was no bloody resolution to the story!!!

Until that was, a shitty, two part, made for TV series came along in the 1990’s (with Thinnes himself barely in it!).

Even now though, hearing that scary theme music causes my anal nerve to almost give out….."

I loved The Invaders! Watched it as a kid with my mum - she loved Roy Thinnes! Remember the little finger was always the giveaway.

They don't make 'em like they used to.....sigh.

Roobarb and Custard both eras too short.

Custard always sounded like Ken Livingstone to me.

A feature film was needed too.

Pugawash aswell.
