on the road to nowhere in particular

In the absence of live venues has anyone been watching any of the plethora of standup zoom gigs?

I wasn’t too keen at first but I am watching several times a week now

I've thought about it, but haven't taken the plunge..

Can imagine it's something that takes time to get into??

There were a couple I wanted to but didn't get round to it. I've watched a virtual gig and that was really good.

I am terrible at heckling on zoom gigs. I say something under my breath and zoom pics it up.

My voice is distinctive so there is no hiding place

Showing my technophobic inabilities here, but where do you see these virtual gigs advertised?

There are various fb groups, I’m not sure if I can post links here.

The good side is they are usually free and can have international lineups. The downside can be a variable standard

I watched a lot on YouTube yesterday, Mitch Hedberg Dave Chapelle and some British talent Mick Miller and the late Mike Reid. Then some contemporary international talent on zoom last night.
