Straight to the point - avoids the small talk.
But can be profile dependent, if their profile gives details on their preferences then no need as ill see it there. It’s got to be something more than ‘Hi’

We like somebody to actually have something to say, most likely responding to our profile text or photos, or something we put on the forum. Just something relevant you would just say to absolutely anybody. Something that indicates they may just be able to hold a conversation.
In my experience, people who say "Hi. How are you?" don't have anything interesting to say. We don't want to just jump into bed with somebody, so suggesting anything like that is a non-starter too.
Just talk to us like we are all mature adults. That's by far the best way of getting interest from us. |

Let us know what caught your eye, why are you messaging us specifically? What are you after yourself? What do you bring to the table that we should respond to your message?
We like wit, fully formed sentences and manners.
Oh and poor Mr Racer would love people to read the profile, cos the amount of times he's been told blokes like his ass or to cum over him!  he deals with messages, me (Mrs) on forum. |
