How often do you change your wardrobe?

Jump to: Newest in thread

I might be the odd one out, but I keep wearing the same clothes for years.

I have a jumper that's probably like 10 years old now that I still wear.

..

Don’t they say a person on ever wears 10% of their wardrobe?

I think we all slip into wearing our favourites over and over.

Exactly! I can't bring myself to spend money on something that will sit in the drawers for months unused!

With a body like yours, you only need to be wearing tight boxers.... no more!

I have favourites that I wear a lot - I’ve been known to buy a few of the same item if I particularly like it and it goes with lots of things ... I don’t “change” my wardrobe - I can’t part with anything lol - I have an overspill wardrobe in the loft and things go in and out x

I don't fit in things from that long ago!

I've kept a couple of items from my 20's.

Got dresses/coats from at least 5 years ago.

Most other things I update all the time.

I have far too many clothes.

I’m always buying new things.......

Going out or dress down in a club I hate wearing the same thing twice.

I get a lot of shit from my sisters for wearing the same clothes over and over again, but I simply don't care

If it's comfy, doesn't have any holes, and I like it, why buy new stuff

Well my current wardrobe is an old MFI fitted one with sliding doors and one is broken and need to be replaced... So if anyone knows where I can now get replacement doors with MFI fittings can they let me know.

Out n About

I only tend to buy new clothes when I get holes in the old ones or if I need to look smart for an occasion I will treat myself

Some dresses are 6-7 years old, some are brand new.

I buy every few months and sell ones I no longer want

I have a ‘one in - one out’ principle. If I buy new clothes the same amount has to come out and be sold or go to charity

When lockdown finishes it's going to feel like I have a brand new wardrobe again because of all the things I haven't worn for over a year... Like summer dresses!

It more depends on if I like the look of something when I'm out shopping. I'll buy it, but only to replace something I already have so that I don't run out of room

I see no reason to buy for the sake of it. I'd rather spend my money having a jolly time (in usual times!) I'm decently presented, never scruffy, but never fashionable either

Mr KC has clothing from his late teens too, I think. Mainly band t-shirts!

I add to my wardrobe all the time, certainly monthly. I love clothes, I have some that are weeks old and others that are decades old.
