So on a previous thread there’s so many women saying they won’t show their mummy tummy publicly... well to that! Let’s celebrate the mum tum, and show those tiger stripes off with pride! Here’s to the yummy mummies and all those that find them hot as hell! |

This... Plus it looks worse in pics than in person... Once I am naked I am fine with it but clothed or in pictures, I hate it |

Mine is on show, would like to blame it all on the kids especially my eldest at over 9 lb but I'm just overweight. Sorry for crappy photo, it's my latest progress one cause I don't do scales when loosing weight. |

I love fullsome tummies they are just so womanly.
I love the curved line that goes from the top of the hips each side and forms a crease just above the pubic area.
I call it the "tummy smile"

Mine is the sort of overhang that advanced rock climbers dangle upside down on
It's a Himalayan standard overhang. I tuck it in my keks |

I got lucky too and have no stripes and minimal pouch after 2 pregnancies. The legacy my babies left me with was a bad tear and being sewn up incorrectly, which had to be re-cut and repaired 8 months later. Scar tissue isn't pretty on a foof. |

Have you checked if your rectus abdominis muscles have closed correctly?
Once you have, as well as abs, glute exercises will strengthen the lower back, which help the abs. |

Diastasis recti is quite common problem, sadly. But warrior stripes should be carried with pride |

There are specific exercises that can help Diastasis, if it isn’t corrected it can lead to back and pelvic pain. |

Laurexx"
I have never liked my tummy much, it was always the part of me I would try to hide.
However Laure told me his description of the "tummy smile" & how much he appreciates my figure.
Now I have much less hang ups over that part of my body than previously.
It is amazing how seeing this through someone elses eyes from a positive light has increased my confidence.

I have what you could call a 'Dad Bod' so I am in no position to say anything bad to a woman about whether she has a pouch or stripes. But in any case I love a curvy lady and if she does and stripes then I say she’s earned them and should be proud of them, they have brought a life into this world which is the most amazing thing a human can do IMO |

Why not??? looking at your pics you have a great body and cracking arse AND you are a very beautiful woman. Be proud of who you are. I come to the point in life where I’m like 'if people want to meet me or not I can’t change who I am or how I look(unless I win the lottery then a plastic surgeon can) |

You have to love it as its part of you. My most fabbed pic has it on display. I think us ladies don't realise what some men find attractive. I am and never will be slim. But I'm real and accepted myself as I am. This acceptance many find attractive in itself. Embrace your curves, stripes, scars. All are you and we are lovely x |

Love the traction this thread has had.
Being a mum is a tough gig so hopefully you’ll realise, mum tums, pouches, stretch marks, scar tissue etc.... in the eyes of many we see them as a sign of strength and for me personally I find it extremely attractive. |

For all those who don't like their mum tums and tigers stripes.... I sometimes wish I had them. I should have at least 4 stripes and mum tum 4 times over. Yet to look at me you'd not know I was a mum. And to top it off I look younger than I am. |

I’ve managed to ward off any additional stretch marks this time but I don’t like taking pics of my bump generally. And after I know I’ll just look like a deflated balloon so will not be taking pic then either |

"I stopped being bothered about my mum tum and wobbly bits long ago. On the beach last week, the majority of women in summer clothes had similar tummies. It's really not a minority thing. "
the problem is advertising and social media have beautiful people with lovely bodies selling things. so naturally people feel inferior when they look at these ads.
its a social pressure to appear or to look stunning model like.
people go for surgeries to achieve it because they feel no one will look at them and shower them with compliments.

I had a tummy tuck along with several other skin removal surgeries after losing 10st, but I still have some wobbly bits that I try to hide
It seems that these areas bother me way more than any man who sees them, so I am learning to embrace them |

Loving the positive comments on here
Ladies you should be proud of your bodies. I think curves, tums and marks are sexy. The media are evil with showing perfect bodies
Let’s face it most of us are not models (I’m not for sure! Short and no six pack).
I prefer mature with curves any day over some stick |
