Fareham

I live where they are farmed. But much of the fields were built over due to poor quality imports.

My little one loves going over to see my dad as there’s a strawberry bush at the top of his garden (next to the rhubarb, which I love!).

Did you know there is as much sugar in a red onion as there is in a strawberry

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

Will be jam making next week then, only ever use English grown Strawberries.

Local grower has a large number of poly tunnels and the last few days of sunshine have brought the crop ready for picking.

.

I've not had any English strawberries yet. I did find some asparagus earlier so now I've got the task of not splitting the hollandaise.

It's a shame we import strawberries, carbon footprint an all that. It should be banned, we should be made to wait until July, they'd be so much tastier!

Yes. My strawberry plants don't bare fruit until June. The ones in the shops must be grown in green houses or under artificial lights. Or imported

Most strawberries are grown in water thats why you'll never see a dirty strawberry in the shop
