Hello my dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.
Oh golly what a simply gorgeous day . The sun has shone ans the skies a beautiful azure blue.
I've been beavering away here at Taff Towers . Windows and cills all gleaming. Vegetable patch dug over and seed potatoes sown. All to the accompaniment of jolly birdsong ans lambs calling to their mams in the fields .
This evening i shall don my lycra and whiz along the coast on my bicycle. Watching the sun melt into a millpond sea .
This is my weekend as i work every saturday and sunday
So my dear friends how has your day been.
Please feel free to share with us all
Taff |

It's always a bliss of bubble when you write about your day.
My day was a bit of a battle. I'm "bruised", but survived. and obviously haven't waved the white flag.

had to try and worm the cat and it was a massive fight. usually i put the tablet in a rolo as the cat nicks mine.
but the damn thing has caught on to it and refuses the rolo.
so i fpught like mad to get the damn thing to swallow the tablet, its now under the kitchen table spat out with the cat declaring victory |

A bit discombobulated....
Worked the night shift and only got to bed about 10am. Had an unavoidable commitment this afternoon and then a nap.
My body clock is not happy but I dint drop the nice coffee cup |

I've had a lovely day thanks Taff. I had a bit of a lie-in, then had a brunch of eggs laid by my friends chickens on toast. Did an 8 mile walk in the countryside, thoroughly enjoying listening to the birds as I walked. And I'm just about to dish up some chilli for dinner. Not very productive, but I'm on garden leave so I've got plenty of time to get stuff done...I'm taking a few days to do stuff just for me |

So the cat nicks your Rolos or your worming tablets? I'm confused.
(but feel your pain - I have to give mine a tablet daily and he's constantly spitting the damn thing out!) |

Try hiding the tablet in something crunchy that they like...I use wotsits with my pooch. They can't feel the tablet in the crunchy stuff like they can in softer stuff like cheese or meat. |

Piece of chicken works for me, hide the tablet in that and they wolf it down |

I should have mentioned one small detail - he has no teeth!! I used mackerel this evening and it was a slam dunk. Treats are a bit hit and miss. Tempting to try Wotsits, but I'll probably end up eating the whole bag. |

My day was my rest day, I hate rest days. I struggle with no runs or workouts. Work was great. I'd a bit of crack with some colleagues and got lots done. I enjoyed a walk this evening and listened to some podcasts. Hope you all had a good one |
