Nothing wrong with winks, but if I get one from someone 200 miles away from me I am likely to delete it. Much better to send a message letting people know why you want to meet.

i like winks when there is something on the profile for me to wink back at

dont understand people with no winks winking at me...

to me a wink is like that look across the bar when you see someone you like, testing the water to see f they like you back

wink unless they ask not to..its a good opening tool to express a like for a profile...I dont think the site makers are idiots when they provide features on the site to help ppl meet up/chat whatever.

If you have something to say, say it. To us a wink says - I can't be bothered to write anything but why don't you write to me. Hence once a month we just bulk delete them.

In our case, yes it does, chatted with some fantastic members through a wink, become friends with quite a few and hope to meet with some very soon )

We love the wink saves lots of time, haven't got time to write individually to every member who took our eye, we would never have time for anything else,..

So if I winked at you would u wink back or ignore me?

deleting winks is no problem, but to assume its lazy(then a reflection on what the person will be like on a meet), well thats just nonsense-its a light hearted introduction of a look at me manner.

some people take everything so seriously sitewise, although i bet they are fucking amazing in bed

We encourage the use of winks. If we feel compatible and gut instinct is there that things could work great. Always return a wink that stirs interest leaving the onus on the sender to begin the craic.

If we like the look of someone we'll do the same.

If no return of course by that we accept its a no go-er

I suspect a couple or single fem will generally ignore winks due to the volume and the fact they can pick and choose while a bloke getting a wink will be replying straight away. Was it ever this.

Personally l don't wink as l feel it's like saying 'I can't be arsed to do anything so you do the work and check me out and then send a message' Rather craft a nicely persuasive message even if it never gets read.

When bored we'll do that followed by a question asking them why?

we say we prefer messages to winks.... winks on their own without anything else are a bit feek and weeble.

In all fairness though, it does require a degree of psychicness beyond Derek Acorah to guess what the person you're messaging wants to hear... so that they don't behave like the Duchess from Alice in Wonderland...

I wouldnt say 'it works for us' as such Jane..as they very rarely reply anyway..well apart from those who follow the wink up with a friends invite (which gets an instant unread delete if we dont know who they are)...

We just think that if someone has gone to the trouble of winking then its worthy of a brief reply..we dont really get many so its always nice to receive one. (unless of course theres an ulterior motive as in 'right now lets ya pics')

In all honesty I am the worst type of man some would have you beleive.

I blow my horn on a rainy day when I see a lady in a short skirt and see through blouse. I will stare at your breast if you undo your blouse low enough for me to catch a glimpse... and I will send you a wink if you have a photo of yourself spread eagle showing all the bits I like.... sorry

To us there is nothing wrong with a wink. They are easy to delete or ignore if we are not interested and it saves people wasting their time mailing us.
