In the short term , a relationship break up . It wears off in my experience but very raw at the time .

Whereas a friendship break up hurts forever .

I would say friendships are harder to forge.

I've only ever had friendships so can't say but they sucked.

Relationship breakup because it’s with someone who was my best friend.

I was invested in her, her family, her friends, her life. It’s an entire life that crumbles when the relationship goes.

Relationship because it cuts you.

A relationship break up is massively hard initially. But friends, you can probably count decent friends on one hand, who have taken years to get to that stage. Ive not fallen out with a friend but good ones are very very hard to replaced imagine.

I would say Relationships are harder because at the basis of most relationships there is also a friendship component, so you actually lose both.
