Took me 3 times to pass the theory. My stupid dyslexia totally misunderstood what I was ment to be doing, I explained after the 2nd time and then they tell me I can use ear phones and hear the questions  did that 3rd time no problem lol
Passed my practical 1st time. But I did ask the test bloke to not say turn left or right but instead turn your way or my way lol |

4. My driving instructor was so annoyed as it was all due to nerves.
I thought I'd failed at the start of my 4th test and thought "fuck it, just get to the end" and I passed.
Examiner said he saw me visibly relax when I thought I'd screwed it up and that's why I passed because the nerves had disappeared. |

"How many times have you taken a driving test..."
Twice.
Failed in my instructors corsa with a woman who had the same name as me.
Passed with the chief examiner in my partners 2 litre mondeo, though I didn't know he was the chief till after. I got out and they all expected me to say I had failed as they knew before I drove off. Thank god I didn't know id have been a bag of nerves. |

6 times  three attempts to get an automatic license then a few years later decided I wanted a manual car and got that on the third try, passed the theory twice first time too

I rushed mine through a week before the theory test came out so put a lot of pressure on myself to pass first time. Barely made it by the skin of my teeth.
Took a mock theory a few times since, and usually failed by 1 or 2 points although I did pass a few including the most recent one haha |

Twice. The first test was recorded as a mechanical fault as the tyre blew out with 10 minutes to go (had no faults up until then)
I was offered a free retest and passed it with 1 fault 
Still love driving |

Three times.
First I was so nervous I can't remember what happened...
Second I was robbed... should have passed and swear they had hit their "quota" for the day.
Third passed with flying colours.
There was no theory test. |
