wow!,some terific _iewing for the blood thirsty today from bmx track!.
some nasty crashes on the bends as they race from the 8 man start gates but very exciting racing!.
our riders liam philips & shanaze reade both have good medal chances and are both very good starters from the gate having both been team sprint trained on the velodrome alongside sir chris hoy & and victoria pendleton.
do kep out of trouble guys on those bends!. |

"liam phillips the GB rider just recovering from broken collarbone in may!
hope he keeps out of crashes as looking good, riding within himself and out of trouble. "
I have watched a bit of it for the first time this olympics and its been exciting to watch. Very competitive it seems to be and more than a little dangerous. |

I genuinely do appreciate the skill and dedication of the competitors, but much as I try to get all enthusiastic about the BMX. I can’t help thinking about that chase scene from ET…. Where Elliot had a massive shopping basket strapped to the front of his bike….( yeah and he never fell off !)
Oh…. and before anyone jumps on my bones…..Apparently Sir Chris Hoy was inspired to take up cycling after watching ET
