We took our son to gigs and festivals (day tickets) from about age 11. His 11th birthday present was a trip to the O2 in London to see Iron Maiden, plus a day out in London etc. He's turned into a brilliant musician and music producer, so I think he enjoyed

We're into metal etc here

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I'm thinking of buying Ronnie Dio's autobiography at some point - written by Mick Wall (Kerrang), with the help of Ronnie's wife Wendy Dio.

Saw him years ago when Viv Campbell, Vinnie Appice & Jimmy Bain were in Dio. He was awesome! Sad to find out a few years ago he died of an agressive cancer. Love "Caught In The Middle" off Holy Diver. I play Heaven & Hell a lot. Neon Nights is amazing when you are in a bad mood (aggressive & loud)! Mob rule isn't bad either...

Will have to check on the book!

Totally agree - Dexter is a legend. I saw them once before so fingers crossed for a second. Smash is genius - I also switched off. But nobody seems to be coming up with anything extraordinary recently.

Love Alter Bridge - blackbird is just breathtaking

I’ve seen quite a bit live - Metallica 4 times, Iron Maiden a few times.

I like rock in general not just Metal. Started out as a grungy teenager and it spread.

Love the Foos, although even their latest stuff is a bit meh.

Vex Red was the last band I saw before lockdown and they were awesome. My partner used to be their monitor engineer.
